Wood strengthens long-term partnership with key client in Iraq

木头已经加强了与c的一个关键lient in Iraq, following the award of a new contract to deliver on shared ambitions for asset life extension, enhanced production, and reduced costs across critical energy infrastructure in-country.

The five-year agreement will see Wood provide front-end engineering design, detailed engineering, procurement, and EPC contract management solutions, while continuing to progress long-term objectives to support local Iraqi talent and community support programs.

Craig Shanaghey, President of Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “We are delighted to have secured this new award in Iraq, which signals our continued commitment to working with our clients in the region to unlock solutions to critical energy challenges.

“This award strengthens Wood’s leading position as a trusted engineering and project management partner in the Middle East region, where we continue to build upon more than 70 years of operational excellence.

“Our vast local knowledge, significant presence, and shared commitment to the people and communities of Iraq continue to form a significant part of our delivery and commitment to our client, and to Iraq more broadly.”

The contract will be delivered by a team of more than 250 personnel based in Dubai and Southern Iraq.
